Saša Marjanović, born on 5 February 2002, comes from Bosnia and Herzegovina. His journey in the world of football began in 2008, at the age of six. Saša's first steps in the sport were taken under the youth football school, Sport Team, located in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was here that his remarkable journey started to unfold. Recognized for his exceptional physical strength, height, and robust physique, Saša's coach suggested a role that would define his career - the Defender-Centre-Back.
His time at Sport Team saw him as an indispensable member of the squad, participating in numerous international tournaments, where he consistently played full-time, showcasing his skills and dedication.
First professional contract
At the age of 18, Saša Marjanović made the transition to professional football by signing with FK Željezničar, a prominent first league team in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This marked the onset of his professional journey, and he didn't take long to establish himself. In February 2021, he made his first significant move, transferring to Inter Zaprešić in Croatia.
Just a few months later, in July 2021, Saša embarked on a new chapter with HNK Gorica, another top-tier team in Croatia. Here, he continued to develop his skills and solidify his reputation as a rising star in the football world, spending nearly two years with the club.
Current Pursuits
The latest chapter in Saša Marjanović's journey unfolded in January 2023 when he signed a contract with MFK Zemplin Michalovce, competing in the Slovak Nike Liga. With unwavering commitment to excellence, Saša is determined to make his mark in his current club. Beyond his club endeavors, he proudly represents Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the national U21 team, further emphasizing his role as a promising talent on the global football stage.
